Paris Hilton - Executive Producer for New Movie

I'm sure the title was all part of the negotiations. Anyone who could possibly dream up Paris being a "hottie" has gotta have some problems.

Paris Hilton is now more than a model, red carpet queen, fragrance maker, jailbird, porn video star, actress, party girl and fashion designer.

She’s officially a film producer!

Paris Hilton jetted into Sundance last night. And she’s not just here to hit the swag suites, her usual drill. She’s here to support “The Hottie and the Nottie,“ the film she executive produced and stars in! Can "director" be far behind?

It’s her first theatrical starring role, if you don’t count her sex video, “One Night in Paris.”

Her film is not officially in the Sundance lineup. However, that’s not unusual. Many films come here to try to ride on the Sundance media frenzy.

And it's working. Big time!

Regent Entertainment (coincidentally, also a Sundance sponsor) is having its “Nottie” party at the Bon Appetit Supper Club at The River Horse Cafe Sunday. Word is Paris will also hit 50 Cent's Sundance dinner and do a MySpace chat with him.

Purple Pictures producer Hadeel Reda told Variety’s Anne Thompson, "She's coming to Sundance to pay tribute to Regent. She's savvy when it comes to promoting herself. This is a great opportunity for her and her brand to embrace how people see her."

And to think that Sundance founder/visionary Robert Redford once blamed Paris for officially damaging Sundance’s pristine reputation in the entertainment industry.

Did I mention that the Queer Lounge is promoting Hilton's attendance at their annual Sunday Queer Brunch?

In Sundance, buzz has always ruled. And Paris is officially the Queen of Buzz!
