Paris Hilton to build her own private nightclub in her basement
I a very Waynes World type move, Paris Hilton is building a private nightclub in the basement of her new Hollywood Hills home. The socialite is currently renovating the sprawling five-bedroom mansion she recently purchased for $6m (€12.6m), and the revamp includes her very own disco.
The club will have its own entrance and will hold 200 people, according to US magazine In Touch. A pal tells the publication Hilton wants her club to "look like a Parisian speakeasy, with lots of gold fixtures and black furniture."
Hilton is also planning to turn another space in the mansion into a recording studio, where she'll record her second album. After all, what self respecting record company would touch her.

Several photographers have been injured after the arrival of socialite Paris Hilton in Turkey sparked riots among the paparazzi at Istanbul airport.

Paris Hilton wowed people in Turkey by showing off her belly dancing skills on the country's national television. Paris accepted the offer from a well-known local dancer to perform on stage at the Miss Turkey beauty pageant, where Hilton was a judge. Paris Hilton arrived in Istanbul, Turkey today where she'll act as a judge in the Miss Turkey 2008 beauty pageant!

Paris Hilton and her rock star boyfriend “went wild” while visiting South Africa. Following the couple’s departure, Hilton and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden went on a safari adventure at the Aquila Private Game Reserve, near Cape Town, at the weekend.
The glamorous couple spent a few days in the honeymoon suite at the plush game reserve. Her beau’s band also made the trip. Sources say the group were on the lookout for the Big Five to provide some “ wild adventure” on their visit to the African continent.

Private Paris Hilton pictures Leaked in Facebook security problem
A security lapse on Facebook has allowed its users to gain access to vast libraries of private photographs, including one of Paris Hilton drinking beer with her friends.
A Canadian hacker exploited a recent upgrade to the networking site's privacy settings to view pictures that were intended to be private, including some of Paris Hilton partying with her brother, Barron Nicholas, at the recent Emmy awards.
Facebook was told about the problem yesterday afternoon, and said it had since fixed the bug.
Byron Ng, a computer technician from Vancouver, began looking for flaws in the site's security after an upgrade last week purportedly gave Facebook's 40 million users greater control over the way they shared material such as photographs with their friends.
Mr Ng found that he was able to pull up recent pictures posted by Facebook users, even if the owners intended them only to be seen by a select group of friends.
In a subsequent test, the Associated Press reported that it was able to access several private albums, including one posted by Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder, in November 2005.
The breach comes on the same day that children's charities urged ministers to ban companies from trawling websites such as Facebook to gain access about potential employees, in a process known as "digital dirt-digging".
Record numbers of people are posting intimate details about their lives online, despite warnings from privacy campaigners that photographs are extremely difficult to erase once uploaded to the internet.
The Information Commissioner's Office recently reiterated its warning about the risk of posting details on social networking sites after a study found that the amount of information stored about us on the web will grow by a factor of ten between now and 2011.
In a statement acknowledging the security flaw, a Facebook spokesman said: "We take privacy very seriously and continue to make enhancements to the site.”
In June last year, Facebook was forced to update its privacy settings after it was revealed that certain information about users - such as their sexual preference and religious beliefs - could be ascertained by searching the site.

Paris Hilton Shows of her Geographical Ignorance in Africa
London (ANI): Paris Hilton showed she was the quintessential dumb blonde when she answered a question regarding Africa. Paris was asked on March 22 Saturday about what she thought of South Africa, as she and her guitarist beau Benji Madden's band Good Charlotte, arrived in Johannesburg on tour.
According to The Sun, her reply was: "I love Africa in general South Africa and West Africa, they are both great countries." Paris Hilton AKA Dumb Dumb will be travelling the globe with beau Benji Madden and his band Good Charlotte as they start their tour.
Hilton started her 12,000 air mile globe trot when she left LA for London. From there it was on South Africa. She will now be visiting Munich, Istanbul, Cape Town, Prague and Budapest before returning home once again.

Paris Hilton to host party in Johannesburg
It didn't take long for Paris Hilton to organize a VIP party for herself in Johannesburg this weekend hot on the heels of her goodwill school tour earlier in the week.
On Friday night, Hilton was greeted by a throng of fans at the party, which had been organized with barley 24 hours notice, and gamely posed for pictures.
Meanwhile, Benji Madden, who had performed earlier to wild applause at the My Coke Fest 2008 with his band Good Charlotte, let his girl have the spotlight. At the party, he walked by the crowd virtually unnoticed.
Inside, the couple were affectionate as they hung out in the VIP section. Paris welcomed her fans from a distance via a microphone, declaring that she "loved South Africa, the accent and everyone."
Whenever Hilton leaned over the balcony of the VIP area, she waved and the crowd went hysterical every time, according to an observer.
The party quickly died down after the hostess departed close to 2.30 am.

Paris Hilton attempts to look like she cares in Africa
In what appears to be nothing more than a well orchestrated photo-op attempting to look like she cares, Paris Hilton has her pictures taken with African Children.
Reports say after a stopover in London to Africa, Hilton was not content waiting patiently backstage while her beau rehearsed with his band, Good Charlotte for their Johannesburg concert on Friday.
Instead, Hilton, 27, stopped by the Jakaranda Kinderhuis School in Pretoria for a little meet-and-greet with her own fans.
Hilton doled out autographs, xeroxed pictures and hugs during a reportedly two-hour visit with the kids.

Actress Lindsay Lohan stormed out of a fashion show after she found out that Paris Hilton's handbag range was one of the sponsors.
Thesun.co.uk reports that organisers were so upset with Lohan's tantrum that they have declined to pay her the £17,500 fee that she would have got for just two hours. She further upset them by taking a free bag with expensive items on her way out.
The event was quickly forgotten when Hilton came in with her new boyfriend Benji Madden.
Claus Hjelmbak, the party organiser, said: "I'm grossly disappointed in Lindsay for not fulfilling her contractual duties. But Paris truly saved the night. She was very gracious to everyone - and was the life of the party."

Nicole Ritchie does not approve of Paris Hilton dating Benji Madden
It took them ages to mend them friendship after that famously vague feud of 2005, and now Star magazine reports Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are at it again.
Feud 2.0 is all about the whirlwind relationship between Nicole’s future brother-in-law, Benji Madden, and Paris, a hookup that’s left Nicole fuming with her friend.
An insider is quoted as saying “Nicole has made it clear to Paris that she doesn’t like her seeing (Benji). She thinks Paris is a total nightmare to be around and just wants her to go away. She isn’t happy about Paris once again crashing what is now her picture-perfect life.”
So why does Nicole suddenly see Paris as a big burden? Allegedly it all goes back to Benji’s breakup with her other pal Sophie Monk. Sophie and Benji were engaged, but split up in February. While no one’s accusing Paris of stealing him away, Nicole doesn’t like the timing.
“She feels that Paris screwed Sophie over by coming on to Benji so quickly,” the source revealed to the magazine. “Her allegiance is definitely with Sophie — she doesn’t trust Paris one bit.”
Apparently Nicole’s plan is to wait it out and hope for, well, the worst. “Nicole is just hoping Paris’ relationship with Benji goes down the toilet as quickly as most of her other relationships have. She just wants to get on with her life without Paris.”

Paris tries to be serious but just doesn't manage it
Paris Hilton vows that she will make that promised charity trip to Rwanda. And she definitely plans to build that transitional home for women leaving prison that she spoke so enthusiastically about last summer when she was released from jail.
But after also pledging at the time of her parole to rid herself of all those hangers-on “who are not going to be beneficial in my life,” Ms. Hilton, the socialite-actress, first has to take care of some other business.
Namely, finding a new BFF, or “best friend forever” in the language of the texting, instant-messaging, nothing-lasts-forever generation. And what better way to do so than with a new reality television show?
So it was that the cream of the Hollywood press corps trooped far up into the Hollywood Hills on Thursday night to be introduced to “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF,” the working title for a coming reality series being produced for MTV.
Ms. Hilton arrived — a fashionable 35 minutes late, of course — and preened for the photographers in her Erica Davies gown, diamonds dripping from her neck, wrist and fingers, then explained what exactly she was looking for in a new best friend.
“Someone who’s not going to stab me in the back, like has happened a lot in this town,” Ms. Hilton said cheerily.
Discerning a good friend from a bad can be difficult, acknowledged Ms. Hilton, 27, who previously blamed an ex-boyfriend, Rick Salomon, for releasing a video of them having sex.
“I’m a really good judge of character,” Ms. Hilton said, “so I can tell” who will measure up to her standards.
Casting for the show started immediately, as Ms. Hilton invited prospective friends, male or female, to apply at her new Web site, ParisBFF.com. Twenty contestants will begin the show by living with Ms. Hilton in a house, where they will undertake tasks to prove their friendlike qualities.
Ms. Hilton said that Nicole Richie, her co-star on “The Simple Life” and longtime BFF, remained so. But “she’s home with her baby,” Ms. Hilton said. “She understands.”
The new series is being produced by MTV and Ish Entertainment, a new production company founded by Michael Hirschorn and Stella Stolper. Mr. Hirschorn, a former executive vice president at VH1, played a large part in that cable channel’s explosive growth in recent years, as viewers flocked to the “celebreality” shows he produced, including “Flavor of Love,” in which the rapper Flavor Flav searched for a soulmate.
And Ms. Stolper, who formerly oversaw celebrity talent development for VH1, said she had been in discussions with Ms. Hilton about the idea for some time.
Neither the producers nor Ms. Hilton would disclose exactly what tasks the new friends would be asked to undertake, but they could hardly be expected to make sacrifices as substantial as those of Ms. Hilton herself, who after release from jail last summer said she was giving up the party life.
“You know, I’ve been going out for a long time now, and yes, it’s fun, but it’s not going to be the mainstay of my life anymore,” Ms. Hilton told Larry King on his CNN talk show last summer.
On Thursday, though, she said she was ready to dispense with such deprivation for the sake of her new best friend. “We’re going to be doing all the fun things I do: going to Vegas, going out, teaching them how to be on the town, see if they can get into clubs,” she said. “Just the usual things that we all do.”
Stepping back into crowded, dark clubs and living in a house with 20 others carries some risk for Ms. Hilton. But she said she was not worried about aggravating her claustrophobia, the “medical condition” that led her to be released from jail in early June only five days into a 45-day sentence for probation violations stemming from an alcohol-related reckless driving case. (She was soon returned to jail and served almost three more weeks.)

Discerning a good friend from a bad can be difficult, acknowledged Ms. Hilton, 27, who previously blamed an ex-boyfriend, Rick Salomon, for releasing a video of them having sex.
“I’m a really good judge of character,” Ms. Hilton said, “so I can tell” who will measure up to her standards.
Casting for the show started immediately, as Ms. Hilton invited prospective friends, male or female, to apply at her new Web site, ParisBFF.com. Twenty contestants will begin the show by living with Ms. Hilton in a house, where they will undertake tasks to prove their friendlike qualities.
Ms. Hilton said that Nicole Richie, her co-star on “The Simple Life” and longtime BFF, remained so. But “she’s home with her baby,” Ms. Hilton said. “She understands.”
The new series is being produced by MTV and Ish Entertainment, a new production company founded by Michael Hirschorn and Stella Stolper. Mr. Hirschorn, a former executive vice president at VH1, played a large part in that cable channel’s explosive growth in recent years, as viewers flocked to the “celebreality” shows he produced, including “Flavor of Love,” in which the rapper Flavor Flav searched for a soulmate.
And Ms. Stolper, who formerly oversaw celebrity talent development for VH1, said she had been in discussions with Ms. Hilton about the idea for some time.
Neither the producers nor Ms. Hilton would disclose exactly what tasks the new friends would be asked to undertake, but they could hardly be expected to make sacrifices as substantial as those of Ms. Hilton herself, who after release from jail last summer said she was giving up the party life.
“You know, I’ve been going out for a long time now, and yes, it’s fun, but it’s not going to be the mainstay of my life anymore,” Ms. Hilton told Larry King on his CNN talk show last summer.
On Thursday, though, she said she was ready to dispense with such deprivation for the sake of her new best friend. “We’re going to be doing all the fun things I do: going to Vegas, going out, teaching them how to be on the town, see if they can get into clubs,” she said. “Just the usual things that we all do.”
Stepping back into crowded, dark clubs and living in a house with 20 others carries some risk for Ms. Hilton. But she said she was not worried about aggravating her claustrophobia, the “medical condition” that led her to be released from jail in early June only five days into a 45-day sentence for probation violations stemming from an alcohol-related reckless driving case. (She was soon returned to jail and served almost three more weeks.)
And what about that transitional home for women leaving prison? Moved by the friends she made in jail, Ms. Hilton described to Mr. King in June her desire to build “a place with food, shelter and clothing and programs,” where ex-cons “can get themselves back on their feet.”
A group home of 20 supportive men and women, all working to display their deep and abiding devotion to one another, would seem to suit that need perfectly.
“No, this is different,” Ms. Hilton said of the show — although, she promised, “anyone can apply.”

Apparently Paris' Love for Benji is "the real deal"
Paris Hilton’s relationship with Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden is not a faux-mance, the heiress said on Friday.
During an interview with KIIS-FM’s morning show, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” Hilton told Secrest she is not pulling a prank and definitely dating Madden, the twin brother of Nicole Richie’s boyfriend and baby-daddy, Joel Madden.
“No, it’s not a hoax. We’re really happy,” Hilton said.
Seacrest suspected a hoax because Hilton recently stepped out with a fake guru as part of Ashton Kutcher’s new prank show, “Pop Fiction.”
When asked if she was falling in love with the rocker, Hilton said only time will tell.
“You’ll have to see, but I’m very happy,” the Hilton said. “I feel very safe and really secure. He’s an amazing guy.”
She also admitted that her parents are fond of Madden.
“They really do (like him). They’re really happy for me,” she said.
Hilton said she and Madden have “been friends for a couple years now,” after Seacrest asked if the romance happened suddenly.
She also revealed that the necklace she has been wearing with Madden’s initial was bought by the Good Charlotte member himself.
“That was a very special present,” she said. “It’s very nice. He’s really sweet.”

Nicky Hilton claims she is not starving herself - Oh ya and Clinton didn't inhale
Nicky Hilton has slammed reports she's suffering from an eating disorder.
The designer and hotel owner blames "unflattering" pictures taken of her for the new rumors.
Recent snaps of Hilton looking thin prompted speculation she is starving herself.
But, speaking at her show at L.A.'s Fashion Week on Tuesday, Hilton insisted she is fine.
She says, "There's no truth to any starvation, eating disorders, rumors.
"I think the press has been printing a lot of pictures of me from unflattering angles. My friends see the pictures and they're like, 'Oh my god, are you OK?' And then they see me, and they're like 'Oh ... ' It's really not that interesting or true."

Paris Roots for Sister Nicky at L.A. Fashion Week
It was a Hilton family affair. Kathy, Rick and Paris Hilton — along with Paris' current squeeze Benji Madden — were front and center Tuesday at the Mercedes-Benz L.A. Fashion Week show for Nicky Hilton's high-end Nicholai line.
Before the models took the runway, mom Kathy mingled with the crowd, dad Rick snapped iPhone photos and big sis Paris exchanged whispers with Madden, the Good Charlotte guitarist.
The latest designs from the younger Hilton sister included trench coats, knit tops, houndstooth accents and lots of leather trim. Nicky debuted the more-expensive Nicholai line at New York Fashion Week last year. She launched her first clothing line — the casual Chick by Nicky Hilton — in 2004.
At the end of the Nicholai show, Nicky's boyfriend David Katzenberg presented her with a bouquet of white roses.

After getting in trouble over the number of dogs she owns, Paris Hilton is now whoring out one of her pups in an apparent arranged puppy farming venture.
According to sources, Paris Hilton has "hooked" one of her dogs up with a dog owned by Heiress to the Johnson & Johnson empire, Casey Johnson. This amid the claims of Paris that the dogs just keep multiplying and she cannot bare to give them away. I guess Paris just realised there is money to be made in celebrity dog farming.

Not being (a) American, (b) the mother of a seven-year-old girl or (c) Paris Hilton, I had no idea that there was such a thing as Barbie breakfast cereal.
But apparently, there is. And apparently, Paris Hilton eats it.
Or at least, buys it.
Because here was Paris out supermarket shopping in Bel Air yesterday, looking as casual as we all do when we're out supermarket shopping, ie. wearing white high heels, a posh floral dress, and sunglasses.
And carrying a box of Barbie breakfast cereal in her basket.
Do you suppose Nicole Richie eats Ken breakfast cereal? I think we should be told.

Recent fake Guru visit was apparently part of Aston Kutcher's new show making fun of media gullibility
Paris Hilton's recent night out with a spiritual guru was a stunt for Ashton Kutcher's new TV show, it has emerged.
The socialite was snapped in Hollywood with a man dressed in shaman's robes, although TMZ later identified him as actor Maxie Santillan Jr.
The stunt was part of Kutcher's new series Pop Fiction, in which 20 celebrities help demonstrate the gullibility of the media.
His business partner Jason Goldberg said: "We live in a culture that's driven by media and obsessed with celebrity, to the point where they don't have private lives anymore.
"Two people going out to eat turns into, 'They're engaged'. It's a feeding frenzy. It's dangerous and it's irresponsible in some cases.
"We're having fun, but we want to say to people, 'Can you really believe everything you read and see?'"
Pop Fiction airs on US network E! on Sunday.

Barron Hilton formally charged for DUI and using a Fake ID
Paris Hilton’s little brother Barron Hilton has been formally charged with a DUI and being an unlicensed driver after his arrest last month.
The 18 year old was arrested on the morning of 12th February after driving erractically in Malibu and was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.14%.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office yesterday confirmed that Barron has been charged with four misdemeanor counts in total, including the DUI and using a fake ID.
His arraignment has been set for 14th April and he faces a maximum penalty of six months in jail for each count. However, as it is his first offence, he is expected to take plea bargain.
Paris Hilton famously served time in jail last year for violating her probation after her own DUI arrest in September 2006.

Unable to find a real Guru to help her publicity cause, Paris hires an Actor
Paris Hilton’s spiritual guru, who the famous billionaire has been appearing in public with during the past few days, is actually an actor. His real name is Maxie Santillan.
Maxie played in the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and appeared in the sequel of american forensic series CSI, Celeb Glitz reports. It is not known whether Paris knew that Maxie was an actor or she really believed that he was a spiritual guru.
Last Saturday they were seen together in a popular restaurant in Hollywood where the ‘guru’ blessed the billionaire heiress. As they exited the restaurant, generous Paris gave a precious necklace to a passer by.

Rather than readying for a night at the clubs on Saturday, Paris Hilton opted for an outing in West Hollywood with a Shaman, looking for “items to enhance her spiritual enlightenment.”
The former Simple Life star, dressed in a cute white dress with pointed white heels, first made her way to the Bodhi Tree Bookstore.
While there, Paris, who first showed an interest in self-help and religious books during her legal trouble last year, browsed through the shops offerings with the help of her colorfully dressed teacher.

The declining weight of U.S. heiress Nicky Hilton, sister to TV and paparazzi star Paris Hilton, is approaching a point of concern, a report said Saturday.The hotel fortune heiress was seen shopping in Los Angeles Friday and her apparent considerable weight loss hinted at a potential health concern, the Daily Mail reported.
The British newspaper said the 24-year-old celebrity had barely any muscle or fat on her thighs and a comparison with earlier pictures indicated a significant drop in her weight.
