When Paris Hilton went cerebral by espousing an energy plan in her spoof video targeted at Senator John McCain's presidential campaign, she couldn't have imagined that her vacuous attempt would earn praise from the McCain camp.
Choosing to keep the focus on rival Barack Obama, McCain's spokesperson Tucker Bounds said:
"Sounds like Paris is taking the 'All of the Above' energy approach that John McCain has advocated -- both alternatives and drilling. Perhaps the reality is that Paris has a more substantive energy plan than Barack Obama."
Now that has got to hurt the Obama camp: being derided as shallower than Paris Hilton.
