Paris Hilton being poked by a new guy... No ring anymore

It looks as if Paris Hilton may have given her Swedish boyfriend Alex Vaggo the boot - with a new man for the new year.

After partying well into the night at Villa the previous evening, the former Simple Life star was spotted out on Saturday lunching at Le Petit Four in Los Angeles.

Accompanied by yet another mystery man, Paris Hilton looked to be in high spirits over her latest catch - giggling and smiling on the way out.

When asked by photographers if this was her new boyfriend, Paris Hilton coyly replied, “New year, new everything!”

Paris Hilton Engaged???

Socialite-heiress Paris Hilton was seen wearing a diamond ring, fuelling speculation that she might be engaged.

Hilton was spotted wearing a snake-shaped diamond ring after she had dinner with her friends in Beverly Hills, reports thesun.co.uk.

An onlooker said, "Paris was getting a lot of attention and was showing off her engagement finger to photographers. I've not seen anything like it before. It was very unusual."

For here was Paris last night: arriving at Goa nightclub in LA and causing a stir as usual in her little teal dress and her swipe of pink lipstick.

But what's of more interest to the eagle-eyed celebrity-watchers out there - that's you, by the way - is the great big rock Ms Hilton is wearing on the fourth finger of her left hand.

So has Paris's boyfriend Alex Vaggo popped the question? Or is this just a way to guarantee Paris coverage on a weekend when Britney, and now Nicole, are dominating the celebrity news? Unfortunately, if it's the latter, then I seemed to have succumbed to her fiendish plot. Doh!
